Are you still trying to decide on a career path? It’s okay if you haven’t made a choice yet. One way to help you decide is by working in a student position at Ontario Power Generation (OPG).

OPG offers positions related to your academic program, as well as Summer student positions that are not directly related to your field of study. All of our positions offer valuable work experience and an opportunity to assess whether OPG is the right fit for you after you graduate.

Each year, we hire approximately 500 students into paid positions, year-round, across the province, in the following areas:

Working at OPG gives you:

  • the opportunity to challenge yourself with real projects
  • the experience of working in a large organization
  • the ability to earn while you expand your knowledge
  • an opportunity to learn from the best in the business
  • first-hand experience, which can help you in choosing the right career path

OPG has created a very fair process for filling Summer student positions. If you are looking for Summer positions not related to your academic program, please read our Application Process for more details.
